Zendo Project: Psychedelic Peer Support at Lightning in a Bottle 2018

Thursday, May 24 – Monday, May 28, 2018 • Bradley, CA

Zendo Project is collaborating with the Lightning in a Bottle festival to provide psychedelic peer support and harm reduction education for attendees.

Volunteering

All applications for volunteering for Lightning in a Bottle are closed. Volunteers have been selected and confirmed for this event.

Locations

  • Zendo Project is next to Medical tents at Woogie Stage and Thunder Stage

The Zendo Project provides a supportive environment and specialized care designed to transform difficult psychedelic experiences into valuable learning opportunities, and even potentially offer healing and growth. In turn, our work reduces the number of drug-related hospitalizations and arrests.

Services

  • Psychedelic peer support and harm reduction education

During the five-day event, Zendo Project staff and volunteers will provide 24/7 compassionate care and peer-to-peer support for individuals having a difficult psychedelic experience or needing other psychological support.

These services are part of our effort to further develop community engagement, education, and awareness about psychedelic experiences and harm reduction.

Training and Public Education

  • Thursday, May 24, 2018 from 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM PST (Crossroads Stage)

The Zendo Project workshop is open to all Lightning in a Bottle attendees and is mandatory for volunteers. If you are attending LIB and are not volunteering with the Zendo Project, you are welcome to attend our workshop.
